What We're About:

 

Event Projection brings awesome ideas to life via 3D projection mapping, large scale projections, creative technology, AV and event services to a wide range of clients including global brands, film and TV companies, the music industry, event organisers, marketing agencies and private individuals. We can be seen delivering brilliant visual and creative technology projects for photo shoots, brand launches, art installations, PR stunts, music videos, advertising campaigns and much more. We work internationally from our base in Bermondsey, South London. We are on a big journey as a business and are now looking for a talented individual to help keep our technical house in order.

 

What You'll Be About:

 

You'll be a key person in our friendly team, responsible for ensuring the technical planning of our events and projects are super slick. From prepping 30K projectors, recommending and purchasing shiny new equipment to maintaining some of the newest gadgets available, you'll be an enthusiastic and helpful team player that likes to get out of the building and show off your skills on site . You'll have a background in events, AV or projection technologies and know what it takes to prep, maintain and manage our kit. Most importantly, you'll have bags of enthusiasm and a willing to learn. This is more important to us than having tick marks against every element of the job specification criteria.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

 

• Overseeing our equipment inventory.
• Prepping kit and content for each project/event.
• Attending recces, site visits and events/live projects as a technician.
• Maintaining our equipment and technology to high standards.
• Recommending and purchasing our inventory of equipment and technology.
• Managing our hire system and related software.
• Managing sub-hires.
• Advising our team/clients on suitable technical solutions.
• Running monthly stock checks.
• Managing our fleet of vehicles.
• Acting as one of our first aiders (training will be given).
• Championing the Event Projection brand and values.

Essential Things We Need You to Have:

 

• 3 years+ experience as an AV or projection technician.
• Good knowledge of AV/projection/tech equipment.
• Experience of prepping, maintaining and repairing AV/technical equipment.
• Good communication skills and be able to be client facing.
• Solid multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Enthusiasm and drive.
• Full UK driving licence.
• You must be over 25 years old due to our vehicle insurance policy. However, please do not list your age in correspondence, only that you are 25 or older.

Not Essential But We'd Like You to Have:

• A history of recommending and purchasing AV equipment.
• Experience of 3D projection mapping/large scale projections/creative technology.
• The capability to produce risk assessments and method statements.
• Experience of Hire Software.
• A first aid qualification.

Other Info:

 

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + Bonus Scheme

 

Location: South London (Bermondsey)

 

Closing Date: Friday 16 November 2018*

 

Work Hours: Full Time, 45 hours per week inc. 1 hour paid lunch.

Some weekend and evening working will be necessary.
