We now have the opportunity for a warehouse stage & set assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Stage and Set Builder and the wider warehouse team under the leadership of our operations manager. Duties:Recovering of set flatsConstruction/ preparation of set flat and bespoke itemsPainting pieces of setOrganisation of the workshop equipment and consumable itemsChecking in equipment returned from hireStock ControlComplying with the company's paperwork processComplying with company health and safety proceduresLoading/ unloading of vans and trucks as requiredOccasional work on site rigging / de rigging for eventsOccasional deliveries / collections (Full UK driving license an advantage but not essential)Required Skills:General joinery skills along with other set construction techniques an advantage but not essential as training will be providedExperience in the use and maintenance of power and air tools an advantageExcellent attention to detailExcellent communication skillsExcellent organisation skillsExcellent customer service skillsAbility to work as part of a team and solo under own initiativeGood time keepingAbility to problem solve and to work to deadlinesHigh self-motivationFlexibility and a can do attitudeFull UK Driving License an advantage but not essentialForklift Truck License an advantage but not essentialCareer Progression Career progression within the company will be available as we develop our staging and set department. Working Hours Standard working hours would be 08.30 till 17.30 Monday to Friday however during busy periods the successful candidate may be required to work at weekend or occasionally night shifts to turn equipment round from event to event.
