numberwrong Posted June 28, 2018 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Hi, I've got a gig in a few weeks on an MQ70 I've not used Chamsys for a while so was going to get half the show built off line to give me a head start on site. My client don't know what software version is currently on the desk as it's out till the gig. Shez Posted June 28, 2018 Share Posted June 28, 2018 I believe the show files are universally compatible in that any version show will open on any version desk. When opening a newer show file on an older console, it will (should) simply ignore any features that it doesn't have. As long as when pre-programming you stick to relatively common features that won't change much from one version to another, you should be fine.
