Job Title: AV Support Technician - Venues Team

 

 

Reporting to: Hire Manager

 

 

Location: Sterling Event Group, Unit 1B Ringway Trading Estate,

 

Manchester M22 5LH.

 

 

Salary: £21,000 - £23400 + overtime and benefits depending on experience

 

 

 

Job Type: Permanent full time

The successful candidate will work closely with the Venues team under the leadership of our Hire Manager.

Key Roles / Responsibilities

 

· Delivering,setting up, de rigging and collecting AV equipment at venues across the North West

 

· Working unaccompanied or as part of a team.

 

· Occasional operating of equipment for events of various sizes and types.

 

· Dealing with clients, suppliers, venue staff and crew both onsite and prior to the delivery / collection to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

· Preparing equipment for events and general warehouse duties

 

 

Required Skills

 

• A minimum of 2 years' previous experience in the AV, sound and lighting industry
• Excellent communication skills
• General IT knowledge (PowerPoint, Keynote and Playback Pro knowledge would be helpful but not essential)
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Abilityto problem solve and to work to deadlines
• High self-motivation and the ability to lead by example
• Flexibility and a can do attitude
• Full UK Driving License

Working Hours

 

Standard working hours would be 08.30 till 17.30 Monday to Friday however due to the nature of the role and industry we require the suitable candidate to be flexible with working hours i.e. early starts/late finishes/weekend shifts maybe required.
