We are looking for a Cornwall based Engineer to join our team.

The following criteria must be met:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Electrical knowledge/experience
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and nights
  • Be available from October to January
  • Be hard working

The following are ideal but not essential:

  • Category C driving entitlement
  • IPAF qualification
  • Engineering knowledge
  • Electrical Qualification

The position will include working at height, driving and lifting. Training will be provided.

The position will be temporary part time, but will typically offer full time hours in October, November and early to mid January, with call outs and occasional work at other times. During the contract period you will need to be available for call outs, these can typically be responded to within 24 hours, but there may be an urgent call out that requires immediate action. Due to this, if you are planning to be away during the Christmas period, please let us know in your application. We are hoping the right candidate will continue with us on a freelance basis throughout the rest of the year. Travelling and overnights away from home will be required.

To apply, please send us a CV and a statement about your experience and qualification specific to this role to jobs@eventpowerengineering.co.uk

Event Power Engineering as an employer encourages community development. If you feel that you would like the opportunity to apply for this position but may not meet the criteria, please continue and submit your application. We are just as keen to find individuals that have the motivation and interest as we are to find those that have the experience and knowledge.

The rate of pay will be dependent upon whether the individual is PAYE employed by EPE or self employed, but will be between £12-15 per hour.
