Andy Mel
Hi, I have a Tecpro MS721 master station that has lost the orange insert bit in one of the channel call lamps on the front. I don't suppose anyone knows a source of these switches - I guess just buying an insert would be too easy! Many thanks
sandall
Canford. You should be able to find a part-number on their website.
James Remo
I’m pretty sure Andy would have checked there first! They have the belt pack ones but not the masterstation ones. I might have one in my spares box mate, will have a root about in it and let you know
Andy Mel
Canford don't seem to list them on their Tecpro spares section, and obviously it would be a premium price buying spare bits from them! Thanks for the reply Thanks! If you can remeber where your spare came from that would be nice too!
James Remo
Probably one of AVC’s dead units.... ;-)
sandall
Is 27-883 what you are looking for? http://www.tecpro.co...ecproSpares.PDF In my 2009 catalogue it was the exorbitant (even for Tecpro) price of £7.05, so possibly a Canford "special". 27-885 looks similar (& was "only" £2.54), but may not fit on the switch. If you don't want to pay Canford prices it might be worth a trawl on fleabay (I found headset spares that way).
Andy Mel
27-883 is indeed the one. Hopefully someone out there has a 'real world' part number and price!! Having checked ebay briefly I think the chances of getting the right one first time could add up to a canford price after a couple of false attempts! sandall
I would be quite surprised if the original switch didn't come from RS / Farnell*. Are you able to take the unit apart & see if the switch has a maker's name on it? If you are feeling brave It might be worth taking the other cap out & looking for a 1/2" switch with a matching cap. E2A: * might of course be discontinued by now :(
