Lighting & Video Technician - Ibiza

Primarily involved working on the daytime pool party events throughout the summer season (3 events a week June and September, 4 events a week July & August), operating video, lighting and a small amount of special FX. In addition it would involve preparation and involvement in venue set-up and packdown between shows.

 

Must be willing to be based full time in Ibiza across the summer.

• Video & Lighting Operator for all pool party events

• Assisting with pre-season lighting and video installation

• Ensure all video content (in-house and artist provided) uploaded onto Resolume media server in good time ahead of each event

• Manage all non-event video content (promotional content, weekly event listings), ensuring it is correctly loaded and scheduled, and ensuring video screens are functioning correctly and operating throughout the day 7-days per week throughout the season

• Assisting with additional lighting & video set-up and operation for special one-off events

• Set-up of additional lighting & SFX equipment as required for each weekly event

• Regular stock checking of SFX disposables (CO2, Confetti) and communicating with Event & Production Manager to ensure adequate stock levels in venue

• Ensuring all lighting, video and SFX equipment is stored in a tidy and logical fashion in storage room at all times

• Resolving unforeseen challenges on site

• Training other staff within the Group to manage any simple tasks when technical staff not on-site on non-event days (e.g changing pre-loaded content on LED screen)

• Assisting with venue set-up and assisting with technical and production equipment around site before, during and after the event

• Any other tasks as set out by the Event & Production Manager

 

Start date flexible - between end of April and mid May

 

Salary €1800 per month + benefits
