pmfricker Posted March 20, 2018 Share Posted March 20, 2018 Job Title - Junior Project Manager Department - Delivery TeamLocation - Guildford, Surrey Reports to - Head of Events Salary - £25,000 - £30,000Job PurposeThe Junior Project Manager is responsible for both the production and assisting the production of all events from conception through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as deputy to the Head of Events or Project Manager and assist with planning events Review more complex jobs to ensure that the equipment specification meets the requirement. Event cost & budget management Assist the Operations Director and the Warehouse Manager with the specification and selection of cross-hired equipment between sites. Plan the rig and de-rig of all jobs. Brief, direct and co-ordinate technicians on site. Set up, install, tech and de-install equipment on site to a consistently high standard. As requested by the Head of Events assist the warehouse team to set up and test equipment for specific jobs. Take full responsibility for all non-Peachy personnel while on site during rigs and de-rigs (e.g. freelancers, crew) and ensure that they are fully briefed. Manage and direct all non-Peachy personnel throughout the job. Ensure that a safe working environment at all times When requested by the Head of Events to work in the Peachy warehouse, carry out other warehouse tasks and roles as directed by the Warehouse Manager. Setting up equipment according to instructions from Project Manager Testing equipment before an eventFinding and dealing with any faults on siteOperating equipment during rehearsals and the event itself if required.Managing event equipment bookingA technical understanding of a wide range of sound, lighting, video equipmentBe onsite as a duty technician throughout the event if required.Supervision of other Peachy on site techs.Be able to work independently when required in event set-ups following clear brief from the Head of Events or Project Manager.
