Job Title - Junior Project Manager

Department - Delivery Team

Location - Guildford, Surrey

Reports to - Head of Events

Salary - £25,000 - £30,000

Job Purpose

The Junior Project Manager is responsible for both the production and assisting the production of all events from conception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as deputy to the Head of Events or Project Manager and assist with planning events
  • Review more complex jobs to ensure that the equipment specification meets the requirement.
  • Event cost & budget management
  • Assist the Operations Director and the Warehouse Manager with the specification and selection of cross-hired equipment between sites.
  • Plan the rig and de-rig of all jobs.
  • Brief, direct and co-ordinate technicians on site.
  • Set up, install, tech and de-install equipment on site to a consistently high standard.
  • As requested by the Head of Events assist the warehouse team to set up and test equipment for specific jobs.
  • Take full responsibility for all non-Peachy personnel while on site during rigs and de-rigs (e.g. freelancers, crew) and ensure that they are fully briefed. Manage and direct all non-Peachy personnel throughout the job.
  • Ensure that a safe working environment at all times
  • When requested by the Head of Events to work in the Peachy warehouse, carry out other warehouse tasks and roles as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Setting up equipment according to instructions from Project Manager
  • Testing equipment before an event
  • Finding and dealing with any faults on site
  • Operating equipment during rehearsals and the event itself if required.
  • Managing event equipment booking
  • A technical understanding of a wide range of sound, lighting, video equipment
  • Be onsite as a duty technician throughout the event if required.
  • Supervision of other Peachy on site techs.
  • Be able to work independently when required in event set-ups following clear brief from the Head of Events or Project Manager.

  • Competent in a prepping and operating a wide range of AV equipment
  • Good IT skills
  • Good time management and planning ability
  • Strong drive to expand personal skillset and to help improve Peachy's service offerings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
