Business Development Manager - AV Installations

 

 

EWProduction Services Ltd is a unique production company based on the southcoast. Providing full event solutions toevents and festivals, alongside hire, installation and sales of equipment andresources.

 

Alongsidethis exciting element, EWPSL also run a unique and specialist service to theCruise industry. Working with some ofthe market leaders in the cruise industry, EWPSL supply, install and serviceboth entertainment equipment in the form of sound, AV and light as well asoffering a bespoke LED conversion service.

 

 

Thecompany are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to focus onselling into the Hotel, Nightclub, Bar and Venue Integrations, the idealcandidate will have previous experience in the Audio Visual industry, will havea proven track record in sales, will have experience of selling into the marketsmentioned, will be hardworking, driven, hungry for success and looking to joina growing organisation.

 

 

Youwill have a solid understanding of the various products and services that weoffer, along with the ability to meet set targets. Countrywide travel andovernight stays are expected, as is a smart and appropriate appearance whenrepresenting.

 

 

Thework split is approximately 50% at Head Office based in Customer Service andBusiness Winning and 50% off site with clients.

 

 

Key Duties andResponsibilities:

• Strong client liaison, networking and following up new contacts

• Frequent meetings with new and existing clients, managing meetings from leadsand networks

• Explore potential enquiries, researching opportunities developing and expandingour current client base.

• Following up on outstanding Customer Service quotations and updating CurrentRMS as necessary Supporting the client and Account Handler; visiting ourprojects as an 'ambassador’ when the account handler/manager is unavailable

• To Effectively communicate with and refer to the departments and handover theclient’s vision/brief, including the detail, scope of work and potential budget

• Ensure relative administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner,(adhering to the 'Working Away’ and 'Expenses’ policies at all times).

• To attend trade shows and man the stand when necessary.

• To work alongside other members of the business winning, customer service,production & installation teams and communicate effectively.

• To proactively follow up customer enquiries and quotations in a timelymanner, within set timelines.

• To actively use CRM for updating opportunities, managing accounts andcontacts.

• To supply timely market intelligence and forecasts to management.

• To follow correct procedures at all times and adhere to the policies laid outin the staff handbook.

 

 

Technical Skills:

• Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Accessapplications and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of an internal e-mail systemand electronic diary is essential.

• Experience of Current RMS and CRM, or similar, databases and systems

• Strong business acumen; able to evaluate the economics, budgets and profitpotential of enquiries/opportunities as well as deliver set targets

• Very strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Working knowledge of AV, TV and Events sectors (such as media servers, audioequipment and corporate lighting requirements)

Ouroffice and warehouse is based in Rye, East Sussex.

 

 

Normaloffice hours of 9-5

 

 

Thecandidate will have a full UK driving licence and valid UK Passport.

BasicSalary plus commission Negotiable - £22500 OTE £30K plus
