Visions’ is continuing to expand and grow. To keep up with our current work and allow for further growth and expansion, we have a new position within our team.

 

Job: Production Engineer

 

Current Location: Earley, Reading, Berkshire (However working all over the UK and Europe on events)

 

Duties:

On-site engineer covering sound / lighting / AV as part of the Visions team.

Preparing and testing of hire equipment.

Checking and returning equipment for jobs, including job prep

Using our computerised Hire and Sales management software.

Portable Appliance Testing – on and off site if required.

Other duties as required.

 

Skills / Requirements:

Experience in set up and running of:

Lighting Equipment,

Sound Equipment,

Video & Projection Equipment.

Theatre lighting design.

Project management skills.

Full clean driving licence.

Driving licence to include 3.5t vans

The candidate should be self-motivated, dedicated, have a keen eye for detail, a passion for getting it right (first time) and a willingness to get involved and be part of the team.

 

Hours:

Office hours, with flexible working and overtime as and when required.

 

Salary:

Starting Salary £18,000 plus O/T, phone, pension, bonus (Experience will give rise to higher base salary)
