Weare looking for a senior stage technician to complement our existing technicalteam. Eden Court is a receiving house, with aprogramme that includes a wide range of art forms, including drama, dance,comedy and music. The Senior StageTechnician is required to contribute to the day-to-day work of the departmentand contributes to the smooth running of all performances and other events. You will be responsible for supervising othermembers of the stage team and will be generous in passing on your skills andexperience within the team. Visitingcompanies, which include amateur and youth groups, look to us for expertise andadvice in managing the technical aspects of their shows and events. Tact and diplomacy is necessary in dealingwith these companies. Eden Court pridesitself in providing a consistently high quality technical service to visitingcompanies, and as part of the technical team you will have an important role inensuring that this quality of service is maintained. Members of the Technical crew must be able totake a flexible approach to working, as the nature of the work and timesavailable for it to be done will vary, depending on the events held at thetheatre complex.
