Banjax Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Does anyone know how to turn dark hair grey/white? Needs to be temporary as they are amateur actors with day jobs.
Guest Cpt_P Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Err, I think if you look on the Terralec Ltd. site, they might have some make-up kits for hair. Or could you not use a wig?
Tomo Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Talcum powder works fairly well - but can appear as though they have serious dandruff if you use too much!
w/robe Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Coloured hair spray is quite good (Charles Fox 020 7240 3111) particularly if you just want to add grey in to someones normal colour. If you do want them completely grey then wigs are the best, easiest, cleanest infact probably only option.
blackbird Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Once did a show (in the days when I used to act :) ), playing an old man who had to have grey hair. I was told to use talcum powder, however they also had me wearing a hat. Needless to say, when I had to take off the hat on stage, cue a mushroom cloud of talc. Just a word of warning, but it is still probably the cheapest method if you can deal with issues like this.
Jram Posted May 18, 2005 Posted May 18, 2005 Another vote for talc from me too, with a wig a close second depending on circumstance
