Entertainments Technical Operations Team Leader

We are the Alton Towers Resort and we are part of the magical Merlin Entertainments!

 

 

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of our Entertainments Team within our fantastical resort. We're looking for an Entertainment Technical Team Leader specialising in projects to provide day to day team leader support to the Entertainments Technical team. This includes all technical aspects for all projects, shows, special events and temporary installation work.

You'll be the main point of contact for the technical team regarding projects and events. You will lead the technical team on installation, operations and de-installation of all projects and special events within the entertainments department. This role is suitable for someone with project management experience in the technical event industry.

 

You'll liaise closely with other members of the technical/general entertainments team to ensure that creative vision is realised and maintained at all times.

 

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

 

· PAT Testing Qualification

· IPAF/PASMA Qualification

· Show Control Experience in Q Lab/Medialon/Pharos Lighting and Q Sys (desirable)

· Technical installations and operations experience in a team leader role

· People management experience

· The ability to operate shows or attractions as required

· Understanding of health and safety in this particular industry

· Project management experience including budgets and scheduling

 

The role is based around a flexible guaranteed hours contract, on a permanent basis, and will include weekends and bank holidays as required. Specifics to be discussed at interview.
