Hog 4 How to select every 3rd pixel

I know this is probably in the manual but is there a quick and easy way to select every 1st second 3 red pixel etc.....

With MQ it is easy head number say 101/3 would select every 3rd. 101/2 every second.

Select all your red pixels.

Set Segments to 3.

Hold down Group and hit Next.

First press will give you 1, 4, 7 etc.

Second press will give you 2, 5, 8, etc.

 

Or you could use auto palettes in the patch window, just set Maximum group repeat to the correct number.

Default is three so will work for you, just set it higher if you want every 4th, 5th etc.
