Black Light is a leading provider oflight, stage, sound and AV solutions. Based in Edinburgh for over 35 years' weservice a wide range of customers and sectors with both permanent installationand shorter term hire solutions.

 

As part of our drive to provide the best service possible we have a position available to drive sales and hires in our Theatre and Venues division, as well as supporting our in-house Hire team. This role will be based both in our Edinburgh office and on the road covering Scotland and Northern England, so full driving licence is essential.

 

Ideally, we're looking for someone with a working knowledge of the theatre industry or performance lighting, preferably with some sales or account management experience, though full training will be provided. This role could suit a technician or freelancer wanting stable employment or a new career path for example.

 

You will be a strong communicator who builds rapport, instils confidence and conveys expertise with clients and internal colleagues. You will have a hunger and drive for results with a willingness to learn. Ideally you will also have a strong network of industry contacts.
