scottywalker Posted July 30, 2017 Share Posted July 30, 2017 As a Senior Video technician based at our HQ in Dubai Investment Park you would work closely with the Head of Department to design, install and operate video display systems for events at a variety of venues, primarily in the UAE. You should have 5+ years’ experience and be able to demonstrate a high level of competency and understanding with the following equipment: Barco Encore, Analogway, Barco and Christie Projectors, LED, LCD and Plasma display technologies, switching and routing. You would also be competent with Video/Data signal processing and have a good working knowledge of media Servers and their application. A proficiency in Pandora’s Box, Watchout or D3 would be a benefit. To do this job you will need to have excellent technical and IT skills. You will need good organisational skills, be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. You would work with a wide range of equipment, including: • Projectors • LED displays • LCD or plasma screens • Cameras • Control systems Your day-to-day work could include: • Working closely with Project Managers to ensure the correct equipment is spec’d • Prepping equipment in the warehouse prior to shipping • Finding and dealing with any faults on site • Operating equipment during rehearsals and show • Checking and servicing equipment • Verifying equipment bookings • Training junior members of the team The successful candidate will be fluent in English, well presented, helpful and friendly Please send full CV to swalker@productiontec.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
