Console trainer on Youtube is how we got started, but TBH, the best day was a day at Ambersphere for training. Going to do a 3 day course soon too :)

Its a complex desk, but once you understand the logic, its actually pretty cool/easy.

Links we found useful:

and more importantly;

You have to bear in mind, my last desk prior to this, coupled with a 14yr break, was an old 3 preset, barely programmable desk - so was like learning all over again. Some of these vids, may be teaching you to suck eggs, but they certainly got us navigating around the thing nicely enough.

Not all manufacturers follow the same documentation process. ETC's are very very good, and not to say MA's isn't - they just do it differently.

I would recommend reading their User Guide, some poor shmuck has spent many, many days writing it (speaking from experience) and it will likely have answers to almost all of your questions.

And obviously, doing the manufacturer course is also highly recommended. It will give you a chance to fill in your knowledge gaps, take notes and ask any questions that aren't already answered.

As already mentioned, the Console Trainer videos on YouTube are also very well made.

Best of luck.
