This is our busiest, most frightening time of year and we are looking for extremely talented individuals to be a part of this amazing event. We are looking for both Audio & Visual and Scenic Technicians to ensure that not only do our attractions come to life during Fright Nights, but that they are scarier than ever for our guests! As an AV Technician, you will be working with a team of like-minded individuals, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting AV equipment to the highest standard within our FRIGHT NIGHTS mazes, bringing our attractions to life through sound and lighting. Your main duties will include up-keeping systems and equipment, supervising the daily start-up of all technical systems & checks to ensure high standards are maintained and to ensure Health & Safety standards are met in all attractions. You will also be involved in the technical training of performers and hosts. You'll have knowledge and experience of terminating cables and connectors for audio, lighting, video, power, network; as well as proven experience and knowledge in different wiring systems for audio, lighting and power. We are also looking for Scenic Technicians, who will be responsible for installing and maintaining our hellish attractions, ensuring they are proactive to any scenic issues that may arise during the event to ensure that THORPE PARK Resort is truly the scariest place to be this October!Your main duties will include supervising the daily start-up of all technical systems, checks & theming making sure high standards are maintained and check that all Health & Safety procedures across all attractions and shows are met. You'll have knowledge and experience with Hand and poor tools; as well as proven experience and knowledge in different scenic production methods along with painting and theming techniques. Due to the nature of these roles, applicants must be 18 or over and have full availability from August to mid November. This role will require you to work late nights, therefore you will need to be able to organise your transport home as public transport does not serve THORPE PARK Resort at these times.
