sandall Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 It was some sort of Toyota MPV, not a Land Cruiser, but it had run 100 yards downhill diagonally across the road to meet its tree, so must have been travelling at quite a lick. Owner convinced she had left the handbrake on & the doors were still locked, so no enemy action involved.
paulears Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 The one very important thing is that my van insurance does NOT cover me to drive other people's cars, and does not cover in any way them to be able to drive my van - quite a few car policies no longer extend coverage to driving other people's vans. I tried to get our drummer onto my policy and adding him was going to cost £150 - not because he's young or a risk, but because I get a two driver discount and it's considerable. Adding a third driver removes this discount, and makes a big difference.
