barco screenpro 2hd switcher instructions

got a job comming up where im leaving a client to do their own image control using the overly complicated vision mixer barco screen pro .

has anyone got a simple set of instructions to do cutting between souces so can be used as a switcher.

its just cutting between one camera on sdi and two laptops on dvi ( ones just a holding slide)

 

if I remember right you have to clear the layer eachtime you want to select up a new source and then hit take, but leaving them with a huge pdf manual will just cause panic phonecalls, and I dont have a spare infront of me to talk them through it. anyone can help?

If you are running relatively new firmware, set it to basic mode. Then it is a matter of select source, then hit mix or cut. The only 'confusing' thing is the dvi's being labelled BG A and BG B.

Or give then a screenpro controller so the can just use presets.
