Mr Wheeler
How much does a single counterweight weight weigh?
mikienorth
Ours are 12.5kg. If you supply a house with the weight of a peice they will work out how many weights they will need to put on each bar. Weights are the same design in our house for single and double systems, and, due to there being a mix, it is safer for the flymen to count their own weights. Why do you ask? gareth
Mikie's 12.5kg is about as close to a 'standard' as you'll find (bearing in mind that there isn't actually a standard for these things - although the ABTT code of practice does suggest that weights should not exceed 15kg). Mr Wheeler
Why do you ask? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had a fair idea they were 12.5kgs, but I've never got round to actually weighing them!
