Stuart91 Posted April 20, 2017 Share Posted April 20, 2017 Yeah, I wouldn't expect problems over a 5m length. You might have been unlucky with a poor quality cable so it's probably worth trying other ones, just to be sure. Unfortunately a digital signal down HDMI will either work perfectly, or not work at all. With analogue cabling there was a more gradual deterioration in picture quality.
