saminizzle
hi,Just run into an odd thing I have never noticed before. A company have come into the venue with a show file for a show and are doing some re plotting. They have a long (60 second) fade to black which, depending on the action on stage, needs to snap to black within this time period on another GO. The problem is that even though the next cue is also a TBO the previous cue is still running and therefore still fading? I basically want the next cue triggered to take presedence in the cue stack. Any ideas would be great. Like I say I ah e never noticed this being a problem before, maybe ra setting on their show file??ThanksSam
jmdh
I believe you need to use Assert on the second cue for this, which will force the values from that cue to take effect. https://community.etcconnect.com/control_consoles/f/eos-family/6322/the-function-of-assert
jonathanhill
As above, Assert the final blackout cue, [Cue] [#] {Assert}. (Assert is a soft key on ION). It is also good practice to Block blackout cues, so values cannot track past it.
gareth
As above - an Assert flag on the blackout will solve your problem.
