duncanflight Posted January 3, 2017 Share Posted January 3, 2017 Has anybody ever used an Avo Titan Mobile setup to send all DMX via Art Net using the control laptops network output? I have used the PC network to link 2 desks but was wondering if it could also be used for Art Net. The PC is running windows 10 on an HP360. Will I have any issues or does it behave in the same way as all other Avo desks. How do I patch this in the software and do I need to do anything in the PC network settings (firewall, IP settings etc....) Thanks D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
timsabre Posted January 3, 2017 Share Posted January 3, 2017 yes should work fine, go to the DMX Settings window in System mode to assign DMX lines to artnet nodes.You'll need to set the ip address of the laptop to match the artnet nodes, can do this within Titan or using windows. Judge Posted January 5, 2017 Share Posted January 5, 2017 Hi DuncanAs Tim says. I did this for the first time a couple of months ago and it was as easy as we would like it to be. My laptop is an Acer Aspire R7 that does not have an RJ45 port so instead I have to use a USB > network adapter, but there were still no issues.
