Dexter1210 Posted May 5, 2005 Share Posted May 5, 2005 Hello peeps!I am having a problem with a couple of our mc2 amplifiers.The trim pot on our T2000 is cracking when it is turned up or even touched , the same with one of our E-25s. Solstace Posted May 5, 2005 Share Posted May 5, 2005 Some pots have gaps in the casing, which allows dust to get in etc... I'd suggest that if you can get some switch/contact cleaner in there (Maplin etc sell this in aerosol cans) and sweep the pot through it's full range a couple of times, that might do the trick. Tip: Turn the unit off at the mains before doing this!!! Otherwise, I'd find out what rating the pots are and replace them. Hope this helps C.
