No real budget as of yet, happy to spend on pro kit. we do have some cheap 1m linear battens that we had for a job, they are very glary but a reasonable output

 

has anyone tried any of the cob units?

If you want true uv output (365nm) You will be looking at quite expensive units, searching on here will provide some of them, for example the Rosco Mirocube UV which is about £1300. Most UV LED fixtures are in the range of 400nm, which provides ambient light as well as UV. These do still make things glow but not quite like a 400w source.
