laseranger
Hi We have a potential upcoming project where we would need to translate the output of a range of sensors/inputs (could be a mix of proximity sensors, push buttons infrared beams, touch pads and the like) into single keyboard key strokes. So pushing the button generates one keystroke, the infrared beam another and so on! Now we know that the route to achieve this is something like an Arduino but we have no one with any experience of using them. Is there anyone who could take on a project for us. And with out any obligation what level of complexity would this entail with a rough ball park order of cost!

cedd
Get yourself over to Ultimarc's website and look at their U-hid modules. They're exactly what you're after. I own a bunch of U-hid nano units for just this kind D of thing and they never put a foot wrong.

richard
The usbbutton looks great as a qlab go button! I might order myself one - although I note it only has a windows configuration utility which is annoying
