richard
Hello I am looking to try to find a small video camera for use in the set of a show. Preferably it would be some kind of thin goose-neck thing, it sits on a table in full view of the audience, and should just capture the person sat at that desk. It needs to output colour in composite. I really want it to cost less than £100 as I need 6 of them.. Any ideas? Thanks Richard
peter
Have a look at webcams - some webcams output composite signals and can be fitted to anything with a whitworth adaptor.
Freddie
Try Rapid Electronics, I vaguely recall seeing a few in there when I should have been looking something up in electronics. I think some schools hook them up to projectors to show soldering. Hang On, I'll look at their online catalogue. Edit: They do one (search for 43-0330 on rapid), £37; but its B&W Edit again: There's also a colour one here
the kid
All 6 for under £100? I think that is pushing it for small ones, although there are some that you make up in maplins I think, button size. Web cams are about £30 each.
richard
No, £100 each - we're not that skint as a company. I have been using £25 security cameras for the show in the past (it has been touring for a while) but the time is now coming to up the quality..
