Recently acquired some Selecon profiles for work but their yokes are in a different position to our original and are interfering with the shutter blades. I am assuming gi can just swop them to the higher channel and use the screw at the top as a stopper to prevent t from falling out of the channel??? jonathanhill
Yes, you can move the yoke from the lens tube to the lamp house.
ekul1978
Thanks I thought as much, is it just as easy as removing the front and screws and swopping them around?
jonathanhill
Pretty sure it is as easy as removing the 'safety' screws and then taking the yoke off and repositioning. It has been a while since I have seen an Acclaim profile though, we only have mk1 Fresnels at College.
GridGirl
Yep, just pop the front off and the safety screws out and slide the yoke off the front and on the back!
gibbothegreat
I don't know if you suffer from this problem, but our (brand new) Acclaim profiles' yokes were very unreliable, difficult to get balance and prone to slippage (what is it with Selecon and things that won't lock off properly?!? http://www.blue-room.org.uk/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) We fixed it by replacing their yokes with ones for CCT Minuette profiles - not very expensive, worked a treat, and not had a moment's worry about them ever since.
