How to use MIDI control on Jester Zero 88 board

Im using Multiplay sound cue player on a PC which I've connected via USB/MIDI adaptor to Jester board.

I'm hoping to control board remotely from PC and have heard it can be done.

Can anyone help me complete the puzzle?

If the Jester is like the predecessor Z88 small desks, then the MIDI is quite limited; channels can have their levels set by a MIDI on message, and thus all the scenes and fades need to be set up in the MIDI driving device. For theatrical purposes, this is close to useless.

Perhaps they've improved matters?

You can run cue stack on the Jester via MIDI show control - there's settings in the manual.

It needs enabling or disabling because on some of the hardware variants it uses the same hardware as the USB keyboard so then USB becomes disabled once MIDI is enabled. So name your cue stack first...

We use it fired from QLab so can't give any info for Multiplay unfortunately
