Rather than spending that sort of money on fancy pants imported gloves Id pop into your nearest truckstop and get hold of a pair of truckers kid leather gloves - by far the best general purpose rigging gloves Ive ever had and generally dont cost more than a fiver (though I havent bought a pair for a couple of years).

After seeing the Musto gloves that have no first finger tip and thumb top, I got a pair of those for rigging and general warehouse work. Using them less no it's warmer, but good for when your dealing with oily hoist chains and steels. I think they're designed for sailing, and are starting to fail after 9 months.....
