james3mc
We have a Jands Vista S1 console. We've also acquired a Numark Orbit hand-held wireless controller. Has anyone had any success using it to control a Jands? The Orbit is essentially a MIDI controller, perfect for DJ equipment, but I'm hoping to hook it up to our board to use when we have live music events. BrettVista
Hi James, I have never used this before, however Vista supports external midi control. To set this up: - Plug the device into your computer and make sure the drivers are installed.- In the Vista software - File - User Preferences - Midi and tick the external midi port option for your device- Create a cuelist and then go into the cuelist properties.- Under Midi notes you can learn midi notes to control aspects of the cuelist If you have any questions please drop me an email at brett.cohen@ac-et.com I am the Jands Technical Support for the UK and Europe.
