Dissolving Confetti

Looking to use a couple of the Showtec Confetti canon firing bases at an open air festival. Trying to find a load that will dissolve on the ground (when wet/raining) post use so we are not hoovering a field! Anyone got any ideas?

...but note that (some versions of) the dyed versions of "dissolving" confetti leaves a residue/stain which is basically impossible to get out of marquee / bigtop PVC. A stain that doesn't shift and which could land you with a hefty bill from a disgruntled tentmaster so ensure you have appropriate process's in place to keep the two apart.

Whilst all paper confetti is biodegradable (it's paper...), do note that it won't happen after the first rain, more like over a few days or more.

True water-soluble confetti is available for sensitive sites which does disappear completely after rain\hosing, but be warned, it isn't cheap. Pyrojunkies certainly hold some UK stock (disclosure, I work for them).

Noticing that more festivals are now specifying water-soluble confetti, rather than just biodegradable paper.
