cedd Posted April 24, 2016 Share Posted April 24, 2016 I've not used both, only the R1's, so can't offer comparative help. I liked them though. The dual prisms make for some really nice effects. My one complaint was funny dimming towards the bottom end. There's a very definite and obvious closing in of the mechanical dimmer that really looks odd, especially if you do a slow ish fade with them. Worth checking if the R2 does the same.
