gibbothegreat
Hi all, does anyone know the trick of disassembling the bayonet socket of the SE300b powering module for the Blue Line series? I've found a service document on the AKG website (http://cloud.akg.com/8440/se300_service.pdf) but following the instructions on that, I'm finding that I'm needing to apply more force than feels comfortable, and the bayonet socket still isn't shifting. Is there a trick to this?
Chappie
Unscrew the end cap (the bit painted light blue) with a pair of circlip pliers, this will come completely out along with a pair of washers. Unscrew the XLR retaining screw and push the entire PCB out of the top.
gibbothegreat
Thanks - was attempting that, but this one seems to be pretty firmly stuck. But at least I do know that that is the right thing to do now, so I'll persist in the knowledge that I shouldn't damage it.
