lxkev Posted November 7, 2015 Share Posted November 7, 2015 Hello, We own a few Mac 550's all of which have developed the same fault. One fan near the lamp have failed. The insulation on the cables to the fans have disintegrated and so has the little PCB which splits the power feed to the fans. Anybody got any suggestions on a better cable route around the fixture to 2nd fan? These units have had many repairs over the years, and I'm not sure which way the air flow should be going.. Currently on two fixtures the fans blow air into the lamp area, the other unit blows air out. Does anybody know which way the airflow should be?
