ojc123
I have no connection with this project but stumbled on it while researching other Linux issues. There's a relatively new Linux video mapping project called MapMap. It's in it's very early stages as yet and isn't really suitable for anything but the simplest of video mapping uses. It hasn't got sound yet but that's to be targeted in the next version. On the other hand, it works out of the box, is simple to use and is free so there are no complaints on those counts. I've messed with it a while and it seems quite stable. I tried lpmt for Linux and there were so many dependency issues that I lost interest. I thought I'd flag it up for any Linux users who might be interested. I think the MapMap project may well turn out to be quite powerful eventually. ojc123
MapMap is now available for Windows. It's very basic but it's free and does work for very simple video mapping. Still no sound but it might be useful for those of us on no budget at all.
