New to Glasgow, looking for tips.

How's it going,

I came to Glasgow last year (temporarily) for a crewing contract during the Commonwealth Games,

but I guess the place had an effect on me because I just moved back here full time. I'm doing shifts

with Silverback at the moment, but I've been caught by the whole delayed pay-check scenario where

work done in May is payed at the end of June. Bit of a sickener but there you go.

So basically I'm looking to pick up a few shifts, preferably cash but not essential.

My primary skills include live audio mixing (I recently did 2 years/~200 gigs around Ireland with a

wedding/function band The Marvels) and Carpentry (no official training but I was raised using tools

with my father, I can provide some photos of recent work if necessary).

The bulk of the work I do though is event labouring and I've no problem getting stuck in loading an

artic and stacking flight cases etc. I know how to wrap a cable and I bring my own basic tools and PPE.

My email is McKeownBob "at" gmail.com, my number 0747-4944-362.

Any advice you might have for me would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Rob
