deberoonah
Hello, I am buying some LED stage lights for our drama studio, its a fairly small space so will probably look to build up about 10/12 lights, on t-bar stands either side of the performing space. Is there a bit of equipment that I connect all of the lights to, which will allow me to connect to the lighting console on one DMX cable?? I know I don't need dimmers but cannot work out how connect all the lights to the board. many thanksDebbie I think I have found the answer, I daisy chain all the fixtures?? Is this correct? thanksDebbie
timsabre
Yes, each light has a DMX input and a link-through socket to continue the DMX chain on to the next light.
OllieDuff
One thing to watch - especially if the LED fixtures you're buying are quite cheap - is that the fixtures might have a 3-pin connector for DMX whereas your desk has a 5-pin output, in which case you'll probably want to buy 3-pin DMX cable and a couple of adaptors.
