royzinrotherham Posted October 15, 2014 Share Posted October 15, 2014 I have had a couple of these scans given , on start up they fully reset and the lamp comes on , but thats all they do . the pair are exactly the same ,the menu control board does not light up . norty303 Posted October 16, 2014 Share Posted October 16, 2014 I'm not sure how similar they are, but as a former owner of a lot of DJ Scan 250XT, I'll start by asking what DMX control you have plugged in?If your answer is 'none' then I suspect that's your problem. The DJ Scan 250XT had no standalone 'sound to light' mode, so unless you were controlling it with a desk of some sort, it will just sit there awaiting instruction, as you describe. royzinrotherham Posted October 19, 2014 Author Share Posted October 19, 2014 thanks for the replys guys , no I did not have any signal going to them , and if I press any of the buttons in any order the display does not come on . I am going to bardwells shop in sheffield to see if they have a driver chip for the display .
