At Birmingham Ormiston Academy we run a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Production Arts. The qualification is roughly equivalent to 3 A Levels, lasts for 2 academic years, and you will study across all backstage disciplines, receiving a good grounding in all that happens backstage and in pre-production. You will work on real life productions, both onsite at our city centre site adjacent to Millenium Point and at our new venue The Old Rep in the city centre, working alongside your fellow students on both performing and creative technology pathways. If you are interested in what we have to offer come to our open week 20th - 24th of October, with evening sessions on Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd. We will be running demo sessions and interactive exhibits as well as answering questions and giving you the opportunity to speak to staff and students.
