They're physically very big units, not really suited to the smaller stage, which restricts your potential market. Linear tungsten lamps will become increasingly difficult and expensive to obtain as time goes by. Really good LED technology for lighting cycs and cloths is becoming more widely available and affordable these days, which makes buying into a tungsten halogen solution less justifiable.
