dsharp7th
Any recommendations for a mic/speaker system for a quiet voiced tour guide to use whilst speaking to groups of 20+, moving around outdoor locations? Most guides seem to survive on lungs and vocal chords alone, but I've been asked for a non professional guide. There's some cheap options on Amazon that may be adequate and I'm tempted to order one and give it a try, but I'd like to know if there is anything like an industry standard for this purpose. Just a headset mic connected to a small speaker, probably belt mounted. Wireless not vital.
Malcolm Gordon
You should find something suitable here, with models at all price points. I have no connection with them, nor dealt with them. At least there's a number to call to enquire. HTH
paulears
These worked quite well and it was quite cheap - I used it for a charity function with basil brush, and at the moment a friend is using it on guided tours around the european battlefields - it works really well - and has plenty of facilities.
