Obviously our approach is dictated on a per-show basis by the artistic vision of the Director, but I'm sure we all have a personal style, approach, concept, etc that we bring to a lot of our work. For example I'm most at home working with non-naturalistic productions, feeling most inspired and comfortable creating stylised designs (usually featuring copious amounts of sidelight and backlight - sorry Paul).
