We have a Vista CCTV (code VPC7220DSP) similar to the one shown here with a Computar lens (code H6Z0812AIVD) (second from right here) We'd like to be able to use this as a MD camera but the lens won't focus close enough to make it viable. The focal distance will vary from around 2m to around 5m depending on how large the pit is. Auto-iris would be useful. I believe I need something nearer a 5-12mm but checking online I can only find 8-48mm or greater in the 1/2" format C mount. Can anybody recommend a supplier of a new lens (not necessarily Computar) or a complete camera that could replace it? Budget, as always, is an issue but anything up to a few hundred should be fine.
