grijuraj Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Hi guys, Recently we brought Extron fiber DA (Fox DA series) we used them for a job using Extron fiber transmitters and receivers and they worked fine. Few days back I was trying to use them with Lightware Fiber TX and RX but no luck.. I can see the light at the end of the cable from DA but NO SIGNAL. Many Thanks Griju . Pete McCrea Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 I would expect that Extron and Lightware use proprietary standards, to shift the data over the fibre and that their DA's are not interchangeable between suppliers.
