cbike
When creating groups or even just calling up channels we now seem to have to select clear/clear/sneak/enter to drop channels whereas before clear/sneak/enter was sufficient. Whatever we have changed has been unintentional! It also appears to be a global setting as opening another show results in the same behaviour. It results in groups getting copied into new groups and much frustration. We work with volunteers so suspect a setting has been changed but we don't know what it is! Thanks in advance, Winner gets a biscuit.
gyro_gearloose
Do you have to hit clear twice, or can you just hold it down for a second to clear the command line? If you haven't altered anything else (e.g. updated the firmware), maybe someone has changed the face panel auto repeat settings. Have a look under Browser->Setup->Desk Settings->Face Panel Keypad. There will be two sliders for auto repeat, one for delay and the other for speed. On our Element the delay is set to 500ms, and the speed is set to 100ms. If yours are significantly different then that might explain the problems you've been having. Can I have a chocolate Hobnob please? :)

You can get a rich tea instead. The Yellow highlight box round the channel is removed after the first clear, then the channel data is dropped on the second clear. With clear/sneak/enter the channel level remains.
JSqueaksBooth
I'm not sure it's a fix but I believe you can do live/sneak/enter and would result in the same outcome.
