savage1
Hey folks, Looking for a bunch of inline socapex connectors and was wondering what peoples favourite brands were at the moment. Not really keen on phase3 because the grub screw mashes the main thread holding the body on. I'm selfish so want something thats easy to service and assemble. So LK, amphenol, tourmate, etc? Opinions please.
lxhipster
We've been using Phase3 and hasn't found any problems with it yet. However, we will be taking delivery of Tour mate in a few coming days and from what I've heard, they should be better than P3.
Andyb
Phase 3 is my preference. The grub screw does not bother us and has not knowingly caused a problem. We have used kc connectors previously but are not great in my opinion. Do any other connectors offer the features of phase3? I've not come across the earths connecting first or the spider gland on other connector ranges.
jonathanhill
The P3 range look like copies of the old Litton Veam connectors. Litton Veam, LK and TourMate all have MFBL earths, and TourMate and LK have the spider gland. It would appear that P3 USP is the coloured threaded coupler on the male ends. rmburton90
Where do people find they get the best price for these connectors. Our normal supplier is coming out a bit expensive? Thanks Rowan
savage1
Direct from manufacturer (Incidently I ended up with Phase3, don't think you could really beat them for the price)
rmburton90
Thanks. Managed to get them of AC-ET for £30 a shot. Phase 3 didn't want to give much trade discount to a first time buyer...
