LED Strobes - Showtec Technoflash 448

Predictably enough, now that SGM have done a decent one, it looks like the more budget market are trying to follow suit.

I've been trying to follow what is out there, and have today just come across the Showtec Technoflash 448.

Aside from the awful name, the pictures seem to show a reasonably substantial casing, which could promise a halfway decent performance.

 

As they're so new, the usual trawl of youtube hasn't turned up anything, but I wonder if anyone came across them at Pro Light or similar and had any comments?

Aside from any snobbishness of brand and 'Disco Daveness' of course ;) Just keep repeating, 'Sunstrip Active, Sunstrip Active....' :P
