alabamaman Posted April 28, 2013 Share Posted April 28, 2013 Hi everyone,I saw a documentary about wagner's operas called "Wagner's dream", which has great video work on it.I've read about 10 projectors mounted, but I still can't figure how precise could it be. Is it just mapping or is there semthing different?Here's a link about what I'm talking about, some others are related on youtube, the concept can be easily understood. around 1.30 is good Thanks. dbini Posted May 7, 2013 Share Posted May 7, 2013 its not just mapping, its Robert Lepage + mapping. incredible works like this don't just happen because somebody knows how to write/use the software to control the hardware, they happen because somebody has an incredible vision and the drive/knowledge/facility to make it happen. when it comes down to it, technically, the mapping is there, but its an integral part of the image, along with every other element of the design and presentation.
